According to Instagram it seems almost everyone has found them selves in Italy over the last few months, in my case, I was avoiding the cold back home. And we definately ended up doing so with the heat-wave that crossed most of Europe making those stairs just a little bit harder. There is definately a reason why Positano is one of the most instagram-worthy destinations, with its windy cliffs covered in pastel houses and bougainvillea climbing almost every wall. If you're considering travelling to this beautiful town my tip would be to stay as close to the water as possible, even if that means staying slightly out of the main village. Another absolute must-do is a boat ride along the Amalfi Coast or to Capri. We were able to take a private boat tour with a local through our air bnb, and it was the most relaxing, magical day in what was a jam-packed, non-stop European trip. Words cannot describe how deeply blue the water appeared and that's coming from Queenslander where we are known for our beautiful beaches. Positano and the Amalfi Coast is a place of beauty and, if not already, should be on everyone's bucketlist.
